Hello everyone 🙂
A few days ago I was invited to attend the Kwalita Malta fashion show by my friend and fellow blogger Caroline Abela from Diva inside. If you do not follow her already I recommend you find her on facebook and Instagram as she has some great content. I have known Caroline for the better part of 15 years she was my first boss at my first ever job at age 18 and I remember her being stylish and smart even back then :).
The third edition of Kwalita Malta was held between the 16th and 18th November 2018 at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta’ Qali. I had never attended this event before but I loved the concept behind it. It provides an opportunity and venue for local businesses and entrepreneurs to display and promote their products and services, thereby the organisers are investing in and promoting the potential of the Maltese creative minds.
-As we entered the MFCC we were greeted by the Fashion Pavilion which showcased a selection of work from local fashion designers. We had the pleasure of walking around and admiring the work of some of Malta’s finest creative minds all in one place and I will definitely be attending again next year and take my camera with me. The photos below are taken with my phone unfortunately.
A fashion show showcasing the work of 10 local designers was held – under the patronage of Mrs. Michelle Muscat. The fashion show highlighted a small sample of each designers work and introduced the talented designers to the audience. All of the pieces presented were carefully chosen to make the show an interesting medley of styles and colours which would please everyones tastes ranging from more classical tastes like mine to the more adventurous fashion enthusiast. I added some of the videos I took of the fashion show bellow (unfortunately my phone froze a couple of times so I missed a capturing some of the models) … you can see the rest on my youtube channel.
I am really looking forward to the next fashion event and getting to share with you more of our amazing local talent.
